'Babs' Lois Doris Cooke passed away on 13 May 2010 having fought a personal battle with Parkinson's disease for a number of years. She was the driving force behind the Bureside Holiday Park until illness in recent years forced her to step down. EACC members will remember 'Babs' as a keen supporter of TMOR and EACC, indeed the EACC club base was within the grounds of Bureside for many years before the current site was secured, and of course TMOR is held on land, some of which is in the ownership and control of the COOKE family. In recognition of such support over the years to EACC an impromptu collection was held on the Saturday evening of TMOR which raised £250, the auction of a painting kindly donated by Patrick Richardson on the following Monday brought the total to £310. This was forwarded as a donation to the Parkinson's Disease Society. Our thoughts and condolences go to Donny and his family
