THURNE MOUTH OPEN REGATTA 2010 Friday 28th(evening) - Monday 31st May
Yes it is TMOR time again, and it IS STILL ON - please tell everyone! In spite of substantial re-landscaping of the site EACC are pleased to announce that TMOR will again provide a full racing and entertainment programme this year.
You may know that the Flood Alleviation Scheme has caused severe disturbance to the banks and pathways, added to this the cold weather seems to have put spring back a month or so, the use of the site was in question at one stage. We clearly do not wish to cause any lasting damage to the Environment so, with help from BESL who have offered to provide protective mats if required and the help and cooperation of the Roll and Cooke families the event will go ahead as usual.
Building upon the sucess of previous years the bar will be open Friday evening, all day Saturday, Sunday and Monday through to close. Food will be available each evening, with the 'Beth Boys' looking after us on Friday and Saturday evenings, and a Hog Roast being brought in for Sunday evening. Breakfasts each morning, and filled rolls available all day for the regatta from through to Monday lunchtime. In the afternoons cake will be available with 'tea' (some kind of non alcoholic drink). Thers is an invitation to any cake bakers who may wish to support TMOR with a cake to bring it along for the cake stall.
The generous support of our sponsors Norwich Screen Art www.norwichscreenart.co.uk has ensured the provision of live entertainment on Saturday evening and Boats'n'Bits www.boatsnbits.co.uk on Sunday evening. So if you need any team shirts made or any bits for your boats you know where to go!
We will be seeking assistance with the running, so if you can assist in any way please do give Jimmy James a call, or drop him an e-mail.
