AUTUMN CRUISE 2024
Friday 4th / Saturday 5th to Sunday 6th October 2024

The Autumn Cruise is on the horizon!
The planned destination for this year’s cruise is the far distant shores of South Walsham Long Dyke. The thinking is, there is a lot of mooring space and enough width to double moor if necessary.
There will be challenges should you wish to embrace them! You might need paper, pen/pencil, garden chair and a sailing watch may be useful.
An EACC table has been reserved in The Lion, Thurne on Friday 4th October at 6.30 p.m. in the large hall, far end, dogs welcome.
If you wish to join us for the cruise and/or to eat in The Lion please let Soozie know by Tuesday 1st October by email
I will create a WhatsApp group, so I will need your boat name and mobile number. Optional challenges will be issued by WhatsApp, the first at 9 a.m. on Saturday 5th October. Choose to accept it if you wish, otherwise relax and socialise on the river bank with a beer or a glass of wine whilst you watch the world go by. You may still need your garden chair though!
Boats mooring overnight on the club moorings Friday night should try to leave by 10.30 a.m. on Saturday as Lady Yacht Club have been granted use of the moorings frontage for the weekend.
Saturday night’s evening meal will be DIY, or cook and eat communally.
Any small contribution of cake, cookies or snacks to share might be good.
All we need is sufficient mooring space, good weather and your enthusiasm!
