SUMMER WEEKEND CRUISE 2025
Friday 8th – Sunday 10th August 2025
Cruise Leaders: Mike and Sally Jones (Bure classic BC8 'Ann Catherine')
Stalham - we enjoyed it so much last year, were going again!
Group at the EACC moorings on Friday evening for those who can make it, the BBQ will be available. Leaving around 10.30am for a passage to Ludham bridge and beyond. Lunch at How Hill followed by the remainder of the river Ant up to Stalham. Richardsons have once again kindly allowed us to moor in one of their basins where there is a nice cafe (Sunday breakfast?) also showers and toilets will be open all night. There is power and diesel for those that need it. There will not be a charge for the moorings however we will have a collection for their nominated charity (Break), suggested £5 per boat.
Evening drinks and chatter followed by a short walk into Stalham where we are once again being looked after by Vicki and her staff at the Swan Inn. Last year we had an enjoyable meal followed by a sing along with Colin (No pressure Colin) Chett before retiring.
Sunday morning, breakfast (kippers for some) followed by a trip back down the river Ant, lunching at either St Benets or Fleet dyke before returning home.
